Grounded Minds
Alternative Education Pathways

Grounded Minds Learning provides emotionally informed education support for young people who find learning difficult, not because they lack ability, but because anxiety, emotional regulation, neurodivergence, or past experiences are getting in the way.
I support young people who may be:
-
overwhelmed by school
-
struggling to attend or engage
-
home-educated or moving away from mainstream education
-
bright but stuck, anxious, or burned out
The focus is always on helping them feel safe, regulated, and capable of learning again.
✔ Trauma-aware and neurodiversity-affirming
✔ Structured, calm, and personalised

I help young people who are struggling with learning feel safe, supported, and capable — and I help families find a calmer, more sustainable way forward.
Tailored sessions that support the whole young person, not just the subject.
Support can include English and literacy from Reception to A-level, primary school maths, study skills, organisation, breaking work into manageable steps, and building motivation. Learning is paced carefully to feel achievable and adapted in real time to the student’s needs.
Learning often can’t happen until young people feel safe and regulated.
This support helps them manage emotions, reduce overwhelm, build routines, and feel more confident engaging with learning.
Support for families navigating home education or alternative pathways.
I help create realistic learning plans that balance progress with wellbeing, reduce stress, and bring structure and clarity back to learning.
Alongside 1:1 support, I create practical resources for parents and young people, including routine and planning tools, emotional regulation guides, and study and organisation resources.
Upcoming online courses will provide structured support for learning readiness, regulation and routines, home-education planning, and supporting anxious or neurodivergent learners.
